Following the loss of his work, Jeremy, the patriarch of a young family with adolescent children, chooses to relocate to the backwoods of Georgia in order to assist his eccentric grandfather. Grandpa Vinny has made the mistake of purchasing a badly run-down home for the elderly, and he is in much over his head. However, comedy ensues when Mr. Brown and Cora step up at the appropriate time as desperate investors, and the situation becomes hilarious.
