Touched by an Angel is a CBS drama series that started on September 21, 1994 and lasted 211 episodes and nine seasons until ending on April 27, 2003. The series, created by John Masius and produced by Martha Williamson, stars Roma Downey as Monica, an angel, and Della Reese as Tess, her supervisor. Monica is tasked throughout the series with giving God's counsel and messages to various people who are at a crossroads in their life.
