The first episode of the American reality competition series Top Chef Masters aired on Bravo, a cable television network, on June 10, 2009. The show has been running continuously since then. It is a spinoff of Top Chef, which is a popular show on Bravo. In the show, different world-famous chefs go head to head against one another in different weekly challenges. When compared to Top Chef, which often focuses on younger professional cooks who are still making their way up the ranks in the food service sector, this show is quite the difference.
