Tom and Jerry Tales is an animated television series that premiered on Kids' WB! on September23,2006, and lasted on March22,2008. It began production in 2005 and finished on March22, 2008. Since the original Tom and Jerry cartoon, Puss Gets the Boot, the franchise's fourth television show has continued the chase and brutality of the Oscar-winning cat and mouse team and other characters. It is based on the popular cat and mouse duo Tom and Jerry, as well as 1940s and 1950s cartoons. Since November21,2011, Cartoon Network has been playing reruns of the series.
