The Tick

The Tick is a fictional superhero appearing in New England Comics. The Tick: The Animated Series is an American animated television series based on the character of The Tick. The animated series made its premiere on the Fox network's Fox Kids block on September 10, 1994. It was this series that was responsible for exposing the comedic comic book character to a wide audience. After a total of three seasons, the show's concluding episode was shown on November 24, 1996. Since then, episodes of The Tick have been made available on both VHS and DVD, in addition to being syndicated on many networks, which has led to an even larger cult following for the show. In the year 2001, a live-action television series was produced.
