The instrumental "Having an Average Weekend" by Canadian band Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet served as the show's theme music. Brain Candy, the group's only film, was released in 1996. In the year2000, the troupe reunited for a series of tours and comic festivals. Death Comes to Town, an eight-part miniseries, was published in January 2010. Sid Caesar would blame "the kids in the hall" if a joke didn't go over well or performed poorly than intended.
