This reality series follows the day-to-day operations at Pol Veterinary Services, which are located in the rural country of central Michigan. Dr. Pol is a veterinarian who specializes in treating large farm animals. Some of the creatures that he cares for include horses, pigs, cows, sheep, alpacas, goats, chickens, and even the occasional reindeer. Dr. Brenda Grettenberger, who has collaborated with Dr. Pol continuously since 1992, is also featured on the program.
