The Beverly Hillbillies is an American situation comedy that aired on CBS from 1962 to 1971 for nine seasons, starring Buddy Ebsen, Irene Ryan, Donna Douglas, and Max Baer, Jr. The story follows a peasant family from the woods who move to Beverly Hills, California, after discovering oil on their land.
