When it came to acquiring rights to develop a localized version for Asia, AXN Asia was among the first to do so. In conjunction with Buena Vista International Television-Asia Pacific, ActiveTV is producing the show for AXN. Allan Wu, a Singapore-based Chinese-American actor, serves as the show's host. The grand reward here is$100,000, whereas the grand prize in the American show is $1 million. He explained that "it is not really about the money but the adventure and opportunity to be in one of the world's top reality shows" by SPE Networks Asia, which runs AXN.
