Takeshi's Castle

Takeshi's Castle was a Japanese game show that ran on Tokyo Broadcasting System from 1986 until 1990. It starred Japanese actor Takeshi Kitano as a count who owns a castle and creates challenging obstacles for players to overcome in order to reach him. The show has become a worldwide cult television sensation. On April 2, 2005, a special live "revival" was broadcast to commemorate TBS's 50th anniversary.
