In1985, ABC broadcast thirteen episodes of the American television series Street Hawk. The series is a Limekiln and Templar Production co-produced with Universal Television. Its major characters were conceived by Paul M. Belous and Robert "Bob" Wolterstorff, and its format was established by Bruce Lansbury, who commissioned the program's production. This series was scheduled to premiere in the fall of 1984 on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. Eastern/7:00 p.m. Central. However, ABC executives changed their minds after the summer series Call to Glory performed well, and Street Hawk was rescheduled for the middle of the season. Street Hawk premiered on ABC on January4, 1985 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern/8:00 p.m. Central and lasted until May16, 1985. In1990-1991, USA Network showed reruns at 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays.
