Spellbinder is an Australian Children's Television Foundation-sponsored fantasy teen drama/science fiction television series created by Film Australia & Telewizja Polska. The show is a 26-episode Australian-Polish co-production from 1995. The creators, Mark Shirrefs and John Thomson, also wrote a novelization. The photographs were taken in Australia, which portrayed the "modern" world, and in Poland, which featured the parallel universe in the majority of the images. Following Spellbinder, Heather Mitchell reprised her role as Ashka in Spellbinder: Land of the Dragon Lord.
