Shiki
There are approximately 1300 people living in the village of Sotobamura, which is so small that it is not even connected to a single roadway. A community that has been cut off from the rest of the world and maintains many traditional practices, including the burial of the dead. On a single day, the bodies of three persons are discovered to have died. Even though Ozaki Toshio, the only doctor in the area, is struggling with uncertainty, he is treating the fatalities as if they were nothing out of the ordinary.
