A live television sketch comedy and variety show that airs late at night and was founded by Lorne Michaels. The comedic skits on the show, which make fun of modern culture and politics, are performed by a big cast consisting of both returning cast members and newer cast members. Each episode is hosted by a different celebrity, who often gives an opening speech and participates in sketches alongside the rest of the ensemble. Additionally, each episode has performances by a different musical guest.
