During the 2005-2006 television season, The WB network aired the American comedy-drama series Related. It centered on the lives of four close-knit sisters of Italian heritage and Brooklyn upbringing who resided in New York. Former Sex and the City writer Liz Tuccillo conceived the show, and Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman served as executive producer. When The WB network was merged into The CW, early ratings did not justify a second season. The Veronicas, whose music was frequently included in episodes, provide the unnamed Related theme song.
