A&E's Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal is a show about children with psychic abilities who live in a supernatural world. Psychic investigator Chip Coffey is joined by Edy Nathan, Chris Fleming and Kim Russo on the show, which aims to "show[s] them how to harness their abilities and, ultimately, [show] them that they're not alone in this world" by bringing together children with psychic abilities and adult psychics/mediums. "Fear Management" was the first episode of the series, which premiered in the summer of 2008. Coffey and Ryan Buell have previously been on the A&E paranormal series Paranormal State, which will be referenced in later episodes. For the second season, which premiered on December15,2009, and for the third season which premiered on October17,2010, A&E has renewed the show. For more information on children and young people who claim to have the same powers as those depicted in "Psychic Children," watch an episode of Biographies on A&E. Criticism has been leveled at Psychic Kids for its use of youngsters.
