Lincoln Heights is an American family drama television series centered on Eddie Sutton, a Mission Vista police officer who returns to his former neighborhood, Lincoln Heights, with his family to make a new life and assist out his old community. It is a perilous area to raise a family, and the family quickly discovers that settling in is not as simple as it appears. While Officer Sutton struggles to adapt with day-to-day life as a Los Angeles street cop, his children fight to fit in at their new schools and with their new neighbors. The sitcom launched on the ABC Family network on January8,2007, with 13 episodes slated for the first season. It was renewed for a second season, which debuted on September4, 2007. Say OK, a song by Vanessa Hudgens, was used in a commercial to promote the second season. They aired snippets of Cassie and Charles's romance to the song Crush by American Idol's seventh season runner-up, David Archuleta, to promote the third season. The song Avalanche by Marie Digby is being used to advertise Season 4. Bassist Stanley Clarke and singer-songwriter Blaire Reinhard wrote and performed the show's theme tune. The sitcom was canceled by ABC Family on January 29, 2010, after four seasons.
