Lexx
Lexx is a scientific fantasy television series that follows the exploits of a group of mismatched people onboard the biological spacecraft Lexx. They journey through two realms and encounter planets, including a spoof of Earth. The show is a collaboration between Canada and Germany, with sponsorship from Britain's Channel 5. The Sci Fi Channel purchased the series from Salter Street Films and began screening versions of Season 2 episodes for US audiences in January 2000. Lexx was co-produced by Salter Street Films, which was eventually acquired by Alliance Atlantis. Lexx debuted in Canada on the Alliance Atlantis-owned Showcase network. The series was mostly shot in Halifax and Berlin, with additional locations in Iceland, Bangkok, and Namibia.
