Kidnapped
David McCallum plays rebellious Alan Breck Stewart in this HTV and Tele-Munchen co-production. Bill Simpson, Patrick Allen, Andrew Keir, Patrick Magee, and Frank Windsor also star. David Balfour arrives at his uncle's austere Scottish house to claim his inheritance. His uncle tries to kill him and sells him as a slave in the colonies. He befriends Alan Breck Stewart, who is on the run after Bonnie Prince Charlie's loss at Culloden. When a ship's captain tries to kill Breck for his money, the two escape and head to Edinburgh, dodging Redcoats along the way.
