Kemono Jihen
When a series of animal bodies that rot away after a single night start showing up in a remote hill village, Inugami, an investigative from Tokyo that focuses on the occult, is called to check out.
While working the situation, he befriends an unusual kid that operates in the field on a daily basis instead of going to college. Rejected by his peers and also nicknamed "Dorotab?" after a yokai that resides in the mud, he helps Inugami discover the truth behind the killings-- but superordinary pressures are at job, and also while Dorotab? is just a label, it may not be the only feature of the kid that isn't human.
