Every single person will, at some point in their lives, become the victim of some kind of injury. There are a variety of treatments available, and the efficacy of these treatments begins to wane as time passes, despite the fact that different wounds respond differently to various treatments. This is a story about a man who built a wall around his damaged heart in order to protect himself. Since the day that his heart was shattered, he has been living in a shell ever since. One day, he comes face to face with a being that is unlike any other, and through his interactions with her, he gradually figures out how to emerge from his solitary existence.
