HIM, a 17-year-old boy locked between childhood and adulthood, is also caught between his divorced parents' two homes, each of whom has remarried and started a new family. He, like most boys, has trouble processing his emotions and hence "acts out." But something more drives his actions: his innate struggle to keep the horrific secret of a supernatural power he inherited from his grandpa hidden. Only his elderly grandmother realizes the power he possesses, and she begs him to use it for the greater good, warning him that if he does not, disaster would ensue.
