Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends was a six-season animated television show that aired from August 2004 to May 2009. The premise is based on a straightforward inquiry: What happens to imaginary companions when the kids grow up in a world... where they are living, physical beings? Are they abandoned or do they continue to exist? They obviously come to Foster's, according to Craig McCracken. Foster's is a place where imaginary pals can live together until they are adopted by a youngster in need. Mac, a shy and imaginative 8-year-old kid, is forced to move in with his imaginary buddy Bloo after his mother kicks him out of his house. Bloo will not be put up for adoption if Mac comes to visit him every day, as Mac does not want him to be adopted by another child. Bloo's selfish, mischievous personality is diametrically opposed to Mac's, and the two work together to wreck havoc in the house.
