The American comedy Family Affair aired on CBS from September12, 1966 through September9, 1971. The series focused on the struggles of wealthy civil engineer and bachelor Bill Davis as he sought to raise his brother's orphaned children in his opulent New York City apartment. Mr. Giles French, Davis' conventional English gentleman, had to make adjustments when he assumed responsibility for Cissy, 15, and the twins, Jody and Buffy, 6 years of age. The series aired 138 episodes. Family Affair was created and produced by Don Fedderson, who also created and produced My Three Sons and The Millionaire.
