Endurance is an American reality children's television program that has previously aired on the Discovery Kids cable network in the United States and on other networks. The show's structure is comparable to that of the CBS television series Survivor, albeit with a cast of teenagers. Endurance competitors reside in a remote location and compete in a variety of mental and physical challenges; however, they compete in pairs, and the outcome of the competitions determines which pair of players is removed. During its six-year run from 2002 to 2008, each season began with a new roster of competitors, who were gradually removed as the season went until the last two teams contended for all of the Endurance Pyramid pieces. As a prize, the winning boy and girl earned an all-inclusive trip to an exotic destination with their parents. The final episode of the sixth season, which debuted on March 8, 2008, marked the conclusion of production. Up to July 22, 2013, Endurance reruns will continue to air on Hub Network, the successor to Discovery Kids. The Hub's repeats ceased on October 14, 2011, until the show was brought back for reruns on April 2, 2012, but was again canceled. Azteca America also broadcasts Spanish-dubbed reruns on weekends. Three seasons of Endurance were each nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in the "Outstanding Children's Series" category, but the show never won.
