The CW broadcast the comedy-drama television series Easy Money beginning on October5,2008, and continuing until August16, 2009. Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider are the brains behind the series' creation. Media Rights Capital, an independent producer of television programs, is responsible for the creation of this program, as well as others such as Valentine, Surviving Suburbia, and In Harm's Way. After the CW network was unable to achieve any success in the ratings with the Sunday night programming block, they decided to sell it to the producers on a leased-time basis. The production of the series was halted in the middle of October, and it was anticipated that it would begin again within four to six weeks. After another two weeks, MRC made the decision to terminate both Easy Money and Valentine. The CW made the announcement that it would be terminating its arrangement with MRC for Sunday Night programming on November20,2008, which included eliminating the shows that were airing at the time and programming new content for the night.
