Chowder is an American animated television series produced by Cartoon Network and created by C.H. Greenblatt. The series depicts the daily exploits of an aspiring young chef named Chowder as an apprentice at Mung Daal's catering firm. Due to his incessant appetite and scatterbrained personality, Chowder frequently finds himself in trouble, despite his good intentions. He is also harassed by Panini, the apprentice of Mung's competitor Endive, who wants Chowder to be her "lover" despite the fact that he abhors the idea. The series is animated with both standard animation and stop-motion puppet scenes that are intercut throughout the episodes and run over the end credits. Chowder began on November2,2007, and aired for a total of 49 episodes across three seasons and three seasons. During its run, it received one Primetime Emmy Award, six Annie Award nominations, and two additional Emmy Award nominations. C.H. Greenblatt provided the voice of the adult Chowder in the series finale, "Chowder Grows Up," which aired on August7, 2010.
