Basketball
Set during the turbulent years of the Japanese occupation until independence, and a few years prior to the division of Korea into North and South, the story is about the first and last time Korea had a single, unified national basketball team, which made history by advancing to the 1948 London Olympics quarterfinals. The story explores the loves, disputes, unity, and emotional triumphs of teenage athletes who cling to their sport as a beacon of hope in a time of darkness.
