Band of Brothers tells the story of the men of Easy Company from the time they were training to be paratroopers in Georgia until the end of the war. It is based on interviews with the men who made it out alive and on their journals and letters. As members of an elite rifle company who parachuted into Normandy early on D-Day, fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and saw the horrors of war, the men of Easy knew both great bravery and great fear. They became the stuff of legends because of it. Based on the well-known book by Stephen E. Ambrose with the same name.
