WWE SummerSlam 2022

SummerSlam 2022 was the WWE's 35th annual SummerSlam professional wrestling event. It included competitors from the Raw and SmackDown brands of the promotion. The event was broadcast on pay-per-view (PPV) around the world and was livestreamed on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network globally. SummerSlam occurred on July30,2022, in Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee; it was the first SummerSlam not to be held in August. This was also the first WWE PPV event after the retirement of WWE owner Vince McMahon, who had served as the company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since 1982.
