Will Penny
Will Penny, an elderly cowpoke, accepts a job on a ranch that requires him to ride the property border looking for trespassers or, worse, squatters. He discovers that his home in the high mountains has been taken over by a woman whose guide to Oregon has abandoned her and her son. He decides to share the cabin until the spring thaw since he is too embarrassed to kick out the mother and child just as the harsh winter of the mountains rolls in. But it's not just the snow that gently melts; the lonely man and woman soon forget their mutual enmity and fall deeply in love with one another.
