Ed Lover and Doctor Dre are two barbers that are completely incompetent. They join the police force after deciding that perhaps they should pursue a different career path. A grave oversight in the eyes of their duty sergeant, Sgt Cooper, who then goes on the offensive against them at every opportunity. A huge crime is discovered despite this, and they go about the process of investigating and solving it in their own unique way.
