Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior
It is the narrative of Wendy Wu, an average, popular American adolescent who realizes that in order to obtain the coveted crown, she must first learn the warrior's path. Wendy Wu has a single-minded focus on achieving the title of homecoming queen, with no unplanned stops or unneeded detours along the way. When a mysterious Chinese monk named Shen arrives to train Wendy into a fearless kung fu warrior, Wendy's royal ambitions are abruptly derailed as she desperately juggles her lover, her coursework, and the tough battle to become homecoming queen. Now, as Wendy begins to train her mind, body, and spirit in the ancient tradition of the martial arts and her inner warrior begins to gradually emerge, the once-obsessed-with-popularity girl gradually understands what actually counts as she begins to put popularity into perspective.
