Beginning with a young woman at a crossroads, filmmaker Daniel Stine's feature film debut Virginia Minnesota is a tale of a fractured friendship seeking fresh ground. Lyle (Rachel Hendrix), whose life orientation is uncertain, embarks on an unexpected road trip and runs across a former acquaintance, Addison (Aurora Perrinau). Addison is likewise aimless, and the two end up traveling together. Addison and Lyle, separated by a childhood trauma, must confront their shared past in order to go forward as adults. The trip reveals not only the impact of their former friendship on their present life, but also how their new friendship will effect their future as young adults.
