Vic has a fantasy of joining the Viking crew on a journey of discovery. Despite Halvar's father's reservations, he decides to join the expedition. While trying to save Vic's mother Ylva, Halvar and his crew are forced to sail to the forges of Loki at the end of all worlds, where the sword can be destroyed and Ylva rescued.
