Touch Me Not
A filmmaker and her characters embark on a personal research project regarding intimacy, which they document on film. A novel that exists on the boundary between fact and fiction, Touch Me Not follows Laura, Tómas, and Christian on their emotional journeys and provides a highly empathetic glimpse into their worlds and personalities. They strive to break away from past patterns, protection systems, and taboos in order to cut the knot and ultimately be free. They are both hungry for closeness and painfully scared of it. Touch Me Not explores how we can find intimacy in the most unexpected places, as well as how to love another person without losing ourselves in the process of doing so.
