After a personal catastrophe, Reina and Cory have become estranged. Cory takes Reina to her childhood home to reunite. They arrive safely at the unoccupied, lovely mansion despite a tense backwoods encounter with two locals. By dusk, they relax by the fire and recover their rhythm. Zeke, a lost youngster who claims to be their son, knocks on their door. Reina and Zeke's increasing friendship causes a bizarre, sleepless night that threatens Reina and Cory's relationship.
