Dick Romans is a washed-up television broadcaster whose wife walks out on him the day before their ten-year wedding anniversary celebration is set to take place. When Dick finds himself alone with his thoughts, his dog, and a ton of wine, he makes the decision to carry on with the week-long party... by himself. Dick's hesitant vision quest takes place over the course of seven event-filled days, which are loaded with bizarre characters, awkward romance, and some long-overdue self-examination.
