The Unheard Woman
Hanni, the farmer's wife and mother of three, is concerned about Magdalena, her youngest child, who is smaller and more sensitive than her siblings. She contracts stomach illness and loses her vision. The doctors just prescribe panaceas and are unconcerned about her predicament. While Hanni seeks a physician who will take Magdalena's complaints seriously, her husband and children feel abandoned.
