Julie, newlywed to an older guy, returns to Vienna, where a slasher brandishing a razor is killing women. Her harsh and violent ex-lover Jean calls her right away, convinced that he is the only one who can satisfy her unusual compulsion. But he is rejected by her. As a result of her friend Carol's late uncle's death, she meets George, a handsome cousin. George takes advantage of the fact that Julie's husband Neil is frequently on the road. Meanwhile, it appears that the assailant has now turned his attention to Julie. After a series of killings, George encourages her to move abroad with him. It's not looking good.
