The congregation in which she and her father are members is a Messianic Jewish congregation in their community. Rivka's life, however, is irrevocably altered when her father passes away unexpectedly. She eventually settles in with her orthodox Jewish relatives and begins attending services at their synagogue. From her tumultuous relationship with her uncle to a meeting with the synagogue's senior rabbi to the attention of the cutest boy in the synagogue, Rivka learns life lessons that stir her faith to new heights, touching the hearts of those whose lives she has unwittingly impacted.
