The Song of Cotton
Mianhua ("Cotton"), a young woman, is offered a job she has never done before: full-time caretaking of an elderly boxer with Alzheimer's illness. The old man's son is overseas and barely looks after him, so his daughter employs Mianhua to look after him-but the daughter distrusts and despises all nannies because they "know only lying, abusing, and taking advantage."
