Donovan drives to a covert rendezvous in the woods with his girlfriend, Lucy, and many pals late at night. They think they're seeing a "healer" who can treat Lucy's cancer, but when they have to stop short of their goal due to a booby-trap in the road, they get skeptical. When the driver gets out of the car to investigate, he is brutally murdered and taken away. The remaining companions are terrified and flee to a lonely cabin, escaping paramilitary troops as well as the horrible beasts who murdered their comrades. As the companions perish one by one, they understand too late that Donovan has set them up as bait in exchange for a mysterious elixir that he believes would cure Lucy, but even Donovan is unwilling to pay the price.
