During four of the most rigorous days of competition in CrossFit Games history, the fittest athletes on the planet took on the unknown and the unknowable in order to prove themselves. A new documentary, "The Redeemed and the Dominant: Fittest on Earth," catches all of the excitement as the world's best athletes, some of whom look like chiseled Greek gods, converge on Madison, Wisconsin, for a series of trials. Hercules had to deal with 12; now they had to deal with 13. As a slew of Australian competitors surge to the top of the podium, emotions are running high. Many of the competitors learn difficult lessons, such as that not everything that glitters is gold or even bronze, while others discover that they are far more capable than they previously imagined. The finest of them are inducted into the pantheon of CrossFit legends and gain the right to refer to themselves as the "Fittest on the Planet."
