A data card from a video camera is discovered at the crime scene when a detective is dispatched to investigate the execution of his partner. The card contains film captured by two runaway teens who are creating a documentary on the drug-related death of a sibling. The detective retraces the teen's path and quickly discovers a trail of the deceased that leads all the way back to the police station.
