After the tragic loss of her family, Katherine Morrissey, a former Christian missionary, abandoned her religion. As a result, she has turned her attention to the debunking of supernatural events. There are biblical plagues spreading across a small hamlet, and when Katherine arrives to investigate, she discovers that science has no explanation for what is happening.
