When reporter Giorgio D'Amato agrees to meet his friend Enrichetta at Edmondo Parisi's villa, he is shocked to discover that the model has been stabbed to death with a pair of scissors when he arrives on the scene. In order for her to be at the estate, the crippled and neurotic Parisi had requested her presence. Parisi had devised a technology that allowed him to photograph his thoughts. Parisi's lesbian wife Eleonora is among the company of eccentric guests, who also include Alberto, the omnipresent butler; and Lucia, the unrestrained maid. The only person who appears to be normal is little Sara, Edmondo's niece, who enlists D'Amato's help in tracking down the murderer.
