The People vs. Fritz Bauer
The year is late 1950's. Germany, thriving as a result of the economic miracle, is become increasingly apathetic toward confronting the atrocities of its recent history. Fritz Bauer, on the other hand, relentlessly devotes his talents to bringing the Third Reich to justice. Bauer receives a letter from Argentina one day from a father convinced that his daughter is dating Adolph Eichmann's son. Excited by the promising lead and suspicious of a corrupt judiciary in which Nazis still lurk, Bauer travels to Jerusalem in search of an alliance with Mossad, Israel's secret service. To do so would constitute treason— yet treason is the only way Bauer can serve his country.
