A young girl is whisked away to a fantasy land populated by gingerbread troops and a mouse army. Clara desires a one-of-a-kind key to unlock a box containing a priceless present in Disney's stunning version on the classic The Nutcracker. A golden thread given to her at her godfather's holiday party leads her to the prized key, which vanishes into a weird and enigmatic parallel universe. Clara meets a soldier, a gang of mice, and the regents of three magical Realms while there.
