The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking
After a severe storm strands her father's ship, Pippi Longstocking, her horse Alfonso, and her pet monkey Mr. Neilson, they move into the old family home, which the local kids believe to be haunted. Within a short period of time, two children, Tommy and his sister Anika, sneak inside the house where they are met by Pippi. There are many adventures together, including washing the floor with scrubbing shoes, dodging "splunks," barreling down the waterfall, and helping Pippi deal with having to go to an orphanage, which they soon become friends with. This movie is best suited for youngsters ages 8 and up.
